Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of work experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and data management
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), including program costs, risks, and opportunities at the Program and Mission Area levels
• Perform financial analysis of total program and Mission Area cost elements
• Analyze monthly variances between the budget baseline and Estimate at Completion (EAC) positions
• Prepare program financial forecasts and monitor actual costs
• Analyze and report variances between actual costs, plans, and forecasts
• Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals
• Assist Estimating and Program Analysts with developing the basis and rationale for cost estimates
• Coordinate with functional organizations during the EAC development process
• Monitor functional organization performance against established plans and financial requirements
• Prepare and maintain program financial reports and supporting analysis
