Job summary

Raytheon, based in Goleta, CA, is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform forecasting, cost and schedule analysis, and EVM-enabled financial control for defense programs. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with onsite work at RTX facilities. The ideal candidate has an accounting/finance/business background with 8+ years of relevant experience, cross-functional collaboration skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, risk and opportunity analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Perform cost and schedule analysis.
• Coordinate quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) development.
• Provide financial analysis and information to Program Management and program functional leads.
• Prepare financial charts and reports for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews, and other reporting requirements.
• Perform cost, schedule, financial analysis, reporting, and funding planning using company financial systems, tools, and processes.
• Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and reporting.
• Support the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Establish and maintain program financial and contractual logs, including Work Authorization, Contract Modification Log, and Risks and Opportunities (R&O).
• Coordinate with Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Finance regarding program financial requirements and deliverables.
• Analyze program financial and schedule data and communicate variances, risks, and opportunities to applicable stakeholders.
