Job summary

Melaleuca, The Wellness Company, seeks a Financial Analyst in Idaho Falls to analyze new projects, promotions, and initiatives, and to support management with profitability assessments.

You will work across Marketing, Sales, Forecasting & Planning, Cost, and Financial Accounting to drive productivity improvements and prepare executive-level presentations for the President and management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (with exceptional academic performance)
• 3+ years experience as a Financial Analyst
• Ability to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID and work in-person 5 days a week
• History of identifying and implementing profit improvement initiatives
• Advanced Excel; PowerBI and SQL skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial analysis of all new projects, products and promotions related to assigned lines of business
• Independently analyzes proposed projects or initiatives to ascertain if they are financially justified
• Develop annual expense plan and analyze monthly performance against the plan for assigned departments
• Develops key company performance measurements for non-financial managers to better understand, track and improve their operational efficiency
• Identifies, analyzes and reports key business indicators impacting growth, profitability and objectives
• Provide analytical and problem solving support for key managers
• Leads category team and other assigned departments in profit improvement initiatives
