Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst- Pricing in New York, NY to lead pricing responses for new business opportunities, aligning proposals with strategic and financial objectives.

The role requires strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, plus experience in professional services. You will support the Rate Approval Committee and prepare materials for senior management pricing strategy meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field (Master's preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or project management, preferably in professional services.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling and in project tracking/reporting.

Our client, a Law Firm, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst- Pricing in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pricing responses for new business opportunities by developing competitive, innovative, and profitable fee proposals aligned with strategic and financial objectives.
• Conduct pricing-focused practice group, industry, and market analysis to support leadership decision-making.
• Develop and maintain internal pricing databases and external go-to-market templates to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fee responses.
• Support the Rate Approval Committee by leveraging ServiceNow to develop reports on historical approval decisions, outcomes, performance, and trends.
• Prepare financial analysis, reports, and presentation materials for annual pricing strategy meetings with senior management and leadership teams.
• Provide quantitative support, including profitability analysis, and qualitative support, including pricing and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain and protect highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or project management, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong experience with financial analysis and modeling and project tracking/reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to develop alternative strategies and solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office, project management software, and other tools used for financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
