Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Muskegon, MI. The role involves preparing and analyzing routine financial reports, forecasting A/R metrics, and supporting budgeting processes.

You will prepare monthly journal entries, conduct variance analyses, and help drive cost efficiencies within a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in Accounting or Finance, at least two years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/ERP

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with standard cost accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems (Syteline preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze daily/weekly P&L reporting requirements (Schedule 3).
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Gather and prepare periodic financial performance reports (monthly/quarterly).
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support SOX initiatives and cost reduction projects.
• Collaborate with IT on financial system improvements.
