Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support PCC Structurals Carson City with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational insight.

You will partner with Plant Controller, Accounting Manager, Operations, and plant leadership to analyze results, identify trends, and provide information to inform business decisions. You will analyze manufacturing costs, labor, inventory, scrap, productivity, capital spending, and other KPIs, developing tools and reports to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Two to five years of financial analysis, accounting, FP&A or related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring financial and operational reports for plant leadership.
• Analyze actual performance against budget, forecast and targets.
• Perform analysis of revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, EBIT and working capital.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop financial analyses and summaries to aid decision making.
