Welty Energy & Infrastructure (WE&I) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Akron-based team. This in-office role focuses on financial planning, reporting, and data integrity across multiple projects.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate analyses and insightful recommendations. The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, mathematics or related field.
• 2–4+ years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Familiarity with client-specific financial systems or ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in financial planning, reporting and analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized work style.
• Intermediate Excel with formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of financial planning materials.
• Identify and support process improvements within financial management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across project lifecycles.
• Mentor and onboard staff as needed.
• Develop subject matter expertise in client-specific software and tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet financial deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
• Maintain high-quality deliverables with ownership.
