Job summary

RGP is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team in Akron. You will prepare accurate financial statements, support the monthly and annual close, and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.

SEC reporting experience is not required, making this role ideal for experienced accountants looking to advance in financial reporting. The role is a 3-6 month project onsite in Akron with 4 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with financial reporting; SEC reporting not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with SAP and/or ClickView is a plus but not required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Roll forward monthly reporting schedules and maintain supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and identify reporting discrepancies.
• Demonstrate a questioning mindset by proactively researching issues and validating financial information.
