Job summary

H-E-B in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform research and prepare financial analyses to improve and grow the business, aligned with the Fresh side of the H-E-B business, with a likely focus on the Meat and/or Seafood teams.

You will build forecasts, budgets, and provide strategic financial guidance to Merchants, leading cross-functional projects and high-impact initiatives for the organization.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to forecasting/budgeting/decision models.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced level facilitation and project management skills.
• Advanced PC skills with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops analytical processes focused on delivering financial solutions.
• Performs highly complex analyses to support strategic program decisions.
• Evaluates scorecards of innovative programs to measure effectiveness.
• Regular financial reporting on cadence (week/period/quarter) and ad hoc analyses for Merchant leadership.
• Builds and manages annual department budget.
