Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform in-depth financial analysis and support essential corporate planning decisions. You will design analysis processes and lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 6-8 years of financial analysis experience, strong communication, and the ability to influence senior management. CPA/CMA are nice to have but not required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to forecasting / budgeting / decision models.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced level facilitation and project management skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and Partners.
• Ability to lead large-scale projects from conception to implementation.
• Attention to detail and self-directed work style.

Responsibilities

• Analytics: designs and develops analysis processes focused on providing a financial solution.
• Performs highly complex analysis to inform strategic program decisions.
• Evaluates/scorecards innovative, strategic programs for effectiveness.
• Advising: acts as consultant on P&A programs, processes and policies.
• Project Management: develops and implements performance improvement strategies and evaluates project performance.
• Participates in cross-departmental projects and leads cross-functional special projects when needed.
