Job summary

H-E-B seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to perform research and prepare financial analyses for corporate planning decisions. You will design analysis processes to provide financial solutions and conduct complex analyses for strategic programs.

You will collect and analyze safety metrics, report forecasts and actuals, and present insights to leadership. The role requires collaboration across departments and strong communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to forecasting/budgeting/decision models.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced facilitation and project management skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and partners.
• CPA and CMA are preferred / listed as certifications.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops analysis processes focused on providing a financial solution.
• Performs highly complex analysis of information used to make decisions on implementation of strategic programs and changes.
• Evaluates/scorecards innovative, strategic programs to measure effectiveness.
• Collect, organize, and analyze environmental, health, and safety metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Reports actuals and forecasts including capital and expense spend, KPIs, and compliance data.
• Presents safety data insights to leadership.
• Acts as consultant on P&A programs, processes, policies.
• Develops and implements performance improvement strategies and evaluates project performance.
• Participates in cross-departmental projects and leads cross-functional special projects.
