Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Five or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Some cost accounting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Helps to coordinate, administer and maintain financial controls, including SOX.
• Assists in managing standard cost input for material, labor, and overhead cost roll changes.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly close and reconciliations.
• Work with inventory to ensure accurate accounting and valuation.
• Coordinate with materials during physical inventories and reconcile perpetual inventory with GL.
• Provide accounting guidance using QAD and other systems for reporting.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and annual budget.
• Support audits and track capital project spending.
