Job summary

Dauch in North Vernon, IN, seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to lead accounting activities, maintain GAAP records, and prepare internal and external financial reports.

You will manage month-end closes, support cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborate with operations to drive accuracy and cost efficiency. The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing finance and Plex ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5-7 years of accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Plex.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal financial controls including SOX compliance.
• Assist in standard cost process, material/labor/overhead rate updates.
• Prepare monthly journal entries as part of close.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Inventory Manager on material transactions and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate with Materials during physical counts and reconcile with G/L.
• Provide accounting guidance for business transactions and reporting.
• Prepare financial data and analyses for management and external reporting.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets.
• Support special projects, cost studies, and profitability analyses.
• Develop statistical reports to aid cost reduction and profit improvement.
• Respond to audit requests with supporting documentation.
• Track capital project expenditures and capitalization policies.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
