Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio seeks a Financial Analyst to support financial management through analysis, planning, reporting and control activities that drive operational excellence and growth.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights, forecast and budget support, cost and inventory analysis, and ensure accurate reporting in line with internal controls and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in a financial analyst, controller, or similar role preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to present financial information clearly.
• Knowledge of IFRS is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, cost and inventory entries, and financial reporting.
• Assist in forecasts, budgets, and related submissions.
• Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast; identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights and decision-support.
• Support cost accounting, inventory analysis, and standard costing; maintain inventory controls.
• Develop and report KPIs and other financial metrics for management.
• Monitor and approve purchase order requisitions per procedures.
• Participate in audits and internal control assessments; support governance as processes evolve.
• Lead or support finance-related projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Learn transitioning business data and serve as a point of contact for related financial data.
