Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, California seeks a Senior Financial Analyst Manager to lead the Defense Satellite Systems finance team. You will own monthly and quarterly financial integrations and deliver customer CD(R)Ls, presenting findings to executive leadership.

We value strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive financial performance across programs. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in finance, plus EAC and EVMS experience, are required for consideration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • 3+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • Experience leading projects or teams

The Boeing Company's Defense Satellite Systems team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst Manager (Level L) to lead the team in El Segundo, California. This Senior Financial Analyst Manager will be responsible for integrating the financials on a monthly and quarterly cycles and creating customer's monthly, quarterly and annual Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL's). This position requires the candidate to have proven leadership skills and demonstrated performance for organizational and operational efficiency. The candidate must have the ability to communicate and present to executive leadership and help lead discussions on providing financial and potential risk, opportunities or issues recommendations.

The successful candidate will:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.



Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Currently have a Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 3+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • Experience leading projects or teams



Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management

  • Experience leading projects or teams with little direct supervision and drive project to completion

  • Experience with Deltek, COGNOS, COBRA, Earned Value Management software, and other accounting systems containing historical cost data.

  • Experience with financial planning processes and tools

Summary pay range: $151,300 - $204,700
