Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a senior finance professional to own product cost and launch unit economics. You will connect cost data to financial outcomes, build dashboards, and partner across finance, operations, and engineering in a high-accuracy environment.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled analysis, ERP/MRP fluency, and leadership of junior analysts. Strong GAAP and cost accounting foundations are essential. This is a full-time position across Blue Origin’s finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in product cost, cost accounting, FP&A or operations finance.
• Deep knowledge of standard costing, MRP/ERP, BOM structures and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own product cost and cost-per-flight reporting end-to-end; define methodology and models.
• Maintain MRP-integrated cost models reflecting BOM and routing.
• Direct launch cost accounting with accounting; capitalization, accruals, inventory close.
• Build dashboards and analyses that reveal launch cost dynamics.
• Link cost data to program-level financial outcomes and leadership storytelling.
• Apply AI tooling to automate analyses with proper controls.
