Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support consolidation, close, and reporting for SSD and new speed programs. You’ll build financial models, analyze large data sets, and provide actionable insights to boost profitability and customer value.

The role partners with Finance, Accounting and BI Engineering to drive efficiency, standardize processes, and scale operations across rapid growth businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and consolidation for SSD financial and operational performance.
• Manage database tools, reporting mechanisms financial systems and create insightful analysis to drive business improvement.
• Coordinate the overall close process partnering with various stakeholders across Finance, Accounting and Business Intelligence Engineering.
• Facilitate effective leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow-up items.
• Creating financial models and plans, interpreting large data sets, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout the company.
• Building effective business partnerships and using active listening skills intuitively to communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs through data and financial analysis inclusive of proactively resolving defects, benchmarking key performance indicators, and developing new metrics.
• Implementing solutions to simplify, improve, automate, standardize and scale processes.
