Job summary

Amazon’s North American External Fulfilment (NA EF) Finance team seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders across EF network. You will build models, analyze data, and drive cost planning, reporting, and controllership with a focus on scalable processes and data integrity.

You’ll partner with Finance, Operations, and Procurement to deliver actionable insights, influence decisions, and help optimize growth and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Responsibilities

• Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build models and analyses in collaboration with Finance and Operations partners.
• Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders to support operational and growth business decisions and action plans.
• Deliver operations planning and cost planning for the network.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements, and cost savings initiatives.
• Ensure excellent financial controllership and manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups.
• Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards.
• Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
• Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data in a clear, concise manner.
