Job summary

This role involves month-end close, forecasting, analytics, and SOX compliance while partnering with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), 2–4 years in corporate finance (Fortune 500 or consulting), and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• MBA (Master of Business Administration) preferred.
• 2–4 years in corporate Finance within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm, required.
• 5+ years post-MBA preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify cost/productivity improvements with DOO/DOS/DOR.
• Forecasting, business planning and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through audits.
• Liaise with Ryder's Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow up with tracking/reporting/recommendations.
