Ryder System, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining for its business segments. You will support FP&A Finance/Segments and coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales to deliver timely insights and actionable results.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, collaboration, and strong technical skills to manage close processes, revenue and cost analyses, and forecasting for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) advanced required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights intermediate preferred.
• Programming and/or relational database design/query intermediate preferred.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close activities, review of P&L, cost and revenue accrual analysis, revenue reconciliations, preparing journal entries.
• Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data; coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales; present close results, operational data, and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Lead various miscellaneous projects spanning one or multiple locations.
• Provide coaching, review and delegation of work to lower level professionals.
• Conduct periodic audits of operations to ensure appropriate controls are in place and effective.
