Job summary

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst II to partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and capital investments. You will drive planning, variance analysis, and profitability insights across assigned Business Units.

Responsibilities include coordinating six annual budgeting cycles, monthly/quarterly variance analyses, and advising on financial implications of investments, while ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience, or Associate with 7+ years.
• 5+ years of FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance experience (automotive preferred).
• Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and financial modeling techniques.
• Advanced SAP (BPC) and Excel proficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience (or Associate with 7+ years).
• 5+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting experience (automotive preferred)
• Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial modeling techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (specifically BPC module) and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional executive communication, business acumen, and stakeholder advisory skills.
