Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst at its Corporate Headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. The role supports profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity through data-driven analyses, forecasting, and reporting.

You will prepare annual financial plans, perform in-depth analyses, and present findings to senior management while ensuring compliance with food-safety programs where applicable. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• CPA certification a plus.
• 5-7+ years of related professional Accounting or Finance experience.
• Manufacturing, consumer durables and/or CPG industry experience required.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• High proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial operating plans using financial modeling and analysis.
• Analyze records of operations, trends and costs to project revenues and expenses.
• Develop consolidated plan, analysis and materials for the annual strategic plan.
• Complete ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for senior management.
• Prepare analyses for monthly results reviews, quarterly earnings, and Board meetings.
• Develop monthly cash flow forecasts and analyses.
• Advise management on resource use and budget assumptions.
• Interpret budgets for management.
• Ensure SQF and GMP compliance where applicable.
• Collaborate with teams on financial performance and reporting.
