Job summary

Supernus Pharmaceuticals, based in Rockville, MD, is seeking a Finance professional to support corporate accounting and business functions. The role partners with departments to ensure proper accounting, analyzes budget vs.

actual results, and leads departmental accruals and journal entries. The position requires a CPA-preferred accounting background, SOX controls experience, and strong data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in pharma or life sciences.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX 404.
• Familiarity with large data sets and ERP systems.
• Strong accounting knowledge of balance sheets and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with departments to ensure proper accounting and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Lead monthly close, journal entries, and accruals for supported departments.
• Assist with annual budgeting/forecasting and cost center coding.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports of operational results.
• Manage Departments' operating expenses and projected spend.
