Job summary

Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a senior accounting professional to join the Finance organization in Rockville, MD. This role partners with department leads, ensures accurate monthly close, and leads accruals, journal entries and analysis of budget-to-actual results.

You will support SOX compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and respond to ad hoc requests while maintaining strong internal controls and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably in pharma or life sciences.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX 404.

Responsibilities

• Support department leads to provide business partnering and finance service.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports of operational results.
• Manage departmental accruals and journal entries; review vendor verifications.
