AIR Communities is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the East Operations Finance team in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on forecasting, modeling, and strategic reporting to drive business performance.

You will partner with leaders, build models, and deliver insights that influence budgeting and quarterly earnings. This in-office position supports a fast-paced real estate portfolio and requires Excel virtuosity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in finance or a related role.
• Expert proficiency in Excel.
• Desirable: VBA, SQL, Power BI and Hyperion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial reporting and analysis that informs operational and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with business leaders to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Prepare reporting and presentations for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.
