Job summary

Gen Digital Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for its Analytics & Decisioning team in NYC. You will own financial reporting, build data models, and partner with FP&A and Accounting to drive forecasting and customer economics.

Strong SQL and Python skills, experience with dbt, and solid understanding of accounting principles are required. Expect cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced fintech environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 3+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, or quantitative analytics in fintech or financial services preferred.
• Proficient SQL and developing Python-based financial models.
• Experience translating accounting principles into data models and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain financial reporting workstreams including dashboards and analyses for accounting and FP&A.
• Document business logic behind financial models for downstream stakeholders.
• Translate accounting principles into SQL/dbt models with guidance for complex rules.
• Partner with Accounting and FP&A on period-close deliverables and ad hoc data requests.
• Develop cohort-level analyses across customer segments and channels.
• Produce regular reporting on customer health metrics with actionable insights.
• Maintain MoneyLion Membership program economics reports and metrics.
• Support forward flow pricing model monitoring and maintenance.
• Write clean SQL/dbt code and develop Python workflows for modeling tasks.
