The Senior Financial Analyst is an important individual contributor role within MoneyLion’s Analytics & Decisioning team. This person will own specific reports, analyses, and data pipelines that support financial decision‑making across accounting, forecasting, and customer economics. Working with moderate supervision, this role is expected to deliver high‑quality, independently produced analytical work and begin to develop direct relationships with key stakeholders.
This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis and data engineering, partnering with Finance, Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills and financial acumen, can run analyses end‑to‑end with limited direction, and is developing the business and product intuition to identify the right questions to ask.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field required.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or quantitative analytics, ideally within a fintech, consumer lending, or financial services environment.
NYC Office (Onsite 3 days per week)
The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $115,000 and $130,000. Base salary is one component of Gen's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
