Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Cancer Clinical Trials Research Senior Financial Analyst to support pre-award and post-award management of cancer clinical trials. The role develops compliant budgets and executes post-award tasks to ensure timely revenue receipt.
Responsibilities include budgeting, billing compliance, sponsor negotiation, and monthly reconciliations within the Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office.
At Stony Brook Medicine, the Cancer Clinical Trials Research Senior Financial Analyst, under the supervision of the SBCC Clinical Trials Office's Research Finance Manager, will play a vital role within the Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office by supporting the pre-award and post-award management of cancer clinical trials. Incumbent will facilitate the development of robust, compliant clinical trial budgets as well as the execution of post-award tasks to ensure timely receipt of clinical trial revenue.

Anticipated Pay Range: The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $82,067 - $106,121 / year. The above salary range represents SBUH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience. Any efforts to inflate or misrepresent experience are grounds for disqualification from the application process or termination of employment if hired.
