Job summary

Serra Automotive is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for its Corporate Headquarters in downtown Fenton, MI. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across 63 rooftops and the enterprise, reporting to the CFO/VP of Finance, with exposure to ownership and store leadership.

The role covers planning, transactions, controls, due diligence on acquisitions, and internal audits, with travel to stores as needed. A CPA or public accounting background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail auto experience preferred in dealership or multi-entity finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel; comfortable with Word and office software.
• Familiarity with DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerTrack).
• Independent work ethic with teamwork across corporate and stores.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Annual budgeting and forecasting for dealerships and consolidated enterprise.
• Analyze dealership financials; identify outliers and benchmark stores.
• Due diligence on acquisitions; prepare quality-of-earnings reviews.
• Internal audit: reconciliations, inventories, compliance testing.
• Lead annual liability insurance renewals data gathering.
• Tax compliance support with outside advisors.
• DMS troubleshooting, training and new store setups.
• Handle special projects from ownership and leadership.
