Job summary

Urban Science International Gmbh is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Finance Manager with monthly processes and analytics. The role collaborates with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a hybrid setup at the Detroit, MI office.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MIS and 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a baccalaureate degree with a focus in Accounting or Management Information Systems from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.
• Three to five years of related work experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables.
• Experience with accounting systems is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close duties, including revenue journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
• Support budgeting and monthly forecasts.
• Produce labor and revenue reporting for regional and corporate management.
• Ensure compliance with finance policies.
• Communicate updates and issues to management and business partners.
• Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and planning projects.
