Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a senior FP&A/Project Finance professional to lead financial management on large-scale capital projects from development through construction. You will build models, analyze cost data, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

The role demands 5+ years of experience in FP&A or project finance, with CPA and ERP experience (NetSuite/Vena) preferred. You will partner with business units, drive forecasts, manage debt activities, and help improve processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or project finance, ideally within capital-intensive environments.
• CPA designation (or equivalent); MBA or CFA is a strong asset.
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, dynamic modelling) and ERP/FP&A platforms experience (NetSuite or Vena).
• Proven ability to build financial models from scratch and communicate complex data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguity and improving processes, including AI in finance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance lead on large-scale capital projects, building and maintaining financial models for budgeting and scenario analysis.
• Analyze construction cost data, identify trends and variances, and present insights to senior leadership and project teams.
• Oversee project debt activities including compliance, drawdowns, and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage project change control and produce timely financial reports and forecasts.
• Partner with business units to drive financial accountability across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring
