U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team to provide financial reporting and analytical support for Payments.

You will partner with Finance teams across business lines and Corporate Finance to prepare weekly sales reporting and executive materials for quarterly earnings, forecasts, and planning. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically six or more years of related experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with financial reporting and executive materials
• Proficient in MS Office and financial systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive-level presentation materials for internal and external reporting, including annual and long-range plans, forecasts, and quarterly earnings.
• Manage weekly sales reporting by consolidating data from multiple sources and translating results into executive insights.
• Support quarterly earnings materials and other key financial reporting with accurate, timely information.
• Analyze financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with Payment Services, Corporate Finance, and other stakeholders on reporting and planning activities.
• Identify and leverage AI tools to streamline reporting and automate routine tasks.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and support cross-functional projects for informed decision-making.
• Review reports and materials for accuracy and consistency.
