Job summary

AeroVironment in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the development and maintenance of program financial plans across multiple products. You will collaborate with Program Management, Finance, Technical and other functions to ensure contractual and project requirements are met.

Responsibilities include budgeting, EACs, cost and pricing models, DCAA audit support, and ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in costing and pricing of complex development programs
• Working knowledge of ERP, SCM, and CRM software/applications
• Current expertise in MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel)
• Must be able to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Cradle to Grave - Financial Management experience
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program financial plans including budgets and EACs
• Compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations
• Analyze cost performance against plans to ensure contractual obligations
• Prepare project control/financial analysis reports for distribution
• Develop complex cost and pricing models
• Support proposal cost estimates and DCAA audits; assist with contract negotiations
• Administer complex financial analyses and produce actionable insights
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and identify trends with recommendations
• Interface with subcontracts, customers and program offices on financial issues
• Drive process improvements including reports, tools and presentations
• Lead a team on new assignments when applicable
