Job summary

Spectrum Search Group is partnering with a global industrial technology and advanced manufacturing organization to fill a key FP&A role in Plano, TX. You will be a core member of the FP&A team, supporting strategic decision-making across a multi-entity global business and reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

You will lead monthly forecasts, build strategic financial models, and deliver executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience utilizing reporting, dashboard, or business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Ability to obtain government security clearance if required.
  • Schedule: onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly forecasting activities and support the annual budgeting and planning process.
  • Build financial models that support strategic investments, operational initiatives, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
  • Prepare recurring management reports that provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into key performance metrics.
  • Evaluate variances between actual and planned performance, providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Support executive presentations, board-level materials, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis related to profitability, operational performance, and business initiatives.
  • Assist leadership with special projects and strategic decision support.

Position Overview
  • Serve as a key member of the FP&A team, supporting strategic decision-making across a global, multi-entity organization.
