Job summary

Stock Development, a premier Florida builder, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance & Accounting team. You will contribute to budgeting, long-term planning, and financial reporting, working with the VP of Finance and CFO, and interfacing with the Executive Leadership team.

You will prepare quarterly reports, perform variance analyses, and help develop strategic models for land development, apartments, and towers. Master’s or CPA and Sage Intacct/Power BI experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 3–6 years of experience in various finance or accounting roles.
• Master’s degree, CPA, real estate industry, Sage Intacct, and Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly bank financial reporting packages, including covenants compliance and MD&A.
• Analyze monthly internal financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial trends and provide risk and opportunities.
• Assist with internal and external presentations.
• Use and improve financial reporting tools to increase accuracy, efficiency and predictability.
• Embrace AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance financial models and analytics.
• Assist with annual budget process and monthly forecasting updates.
• Budget to actual analysis for land development, apartment, and tower.
• Assist in creating a long-term planning model and real estate acquisition financial modeling.
• Assist with transition of legacy database into a new system.
• Recommend ways to streamline and improve processes.

Stock Development, a premier builder that defines luxury living in Florida, is looking to expand its talented team of professionals with an experienced Senior Financial Analyst. This role will be a key strategic member of the Finance & Accounting team, contributing to the budgeting, long-term planning, operational and strategic analysis, and financial reporting for the company. This role will report to the Vice President of Finance, work directly with the CFO, and interact with the Executive Leadership team.

General Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare quarterly bank financial reporting packages, including covenants compliance and MD&A
• Analyze monthly internal financial reporting and variance analysis
• Analyze financial trends and provide risk and opportunities
• Assist with internal and external presentations
• Use and improve financial reporting tools to increase accuracy, improve efficiency and predictability
• Embrace AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance the development, efficiency, and utilization of financial models and analytical tools.

Strategic Planning

• Assist with the annual budget process and prepare monthly forecasting updates
• Budget to actual analysis for land development, apartment, and tower
• Assist in creating a long-term planning model and maintaining ongoing updates
• Assist with future real estate acquisition financial modeling

Project Management

• Assist with transition of legacy database into a new system
• Recommend ways to streamline and improve processes

Education and Experience

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 3-6 years of experience in various finance or accounting roles
• Master’s degree, CPA, real estate industry, Sage Intacct, and Power BI experience preferred
