Qualifications

• Advanced Excel with formulas, Power Query and VBA is a plus; financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus.
• Proactive self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly reports with key metrics, results, and variance analysis for executives.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows).
• Revenue forecast analysis and reporting; manage state and local filings to stay in good standing.
• Coordinate with external tax preparers for annual returns and ensure compliance.
• Identify reporting improvements and automation; develop financial models for decision making.

POSITION BRIEF

SRS Real Estate Partners, LLC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its winning team of professionals. The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and business metrics for board reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel and someone who enjoys managing details, improving systems and processes, and analyzing information to surface actionable insights for the business. The position reports to the Financial Manager, Reporting and Analysis.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis for executive management reporting
• Preparation of annual budget
• Preparation of monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows
• Revenue forecast analysis and reporting
• Manage entity compliance requirements, including the preparation and filing of annual reports with state agencies to ensure entities remain in good standing
• Manage local tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of business license taxes, business and occupational license (BOL) taxes, and other applicable local tax returns.
• Preparation of documentation and coordination with external tax preparer for annual tax returns
• Identify opportunities for reporting improvement and automation
• Develop financial models to assist in decision-making
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including ad hoc special projects for executive management

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business program
• 5 years experience in a finance/accounting role
• Advanced Excel knowledge (Advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA is a plus) and financial modeling
• Experience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus
• Proactive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of independently navigating challenges and leveraging available resources
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
