Vaco is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team on a newly created FP&A role. You will support senior finance leadership and gain direct exposure to executive-level decision-making.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years FP&A experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and advanced Excel skills. You will build models, analyze variance, and prepare management reports to influence strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

Our client, a large and well-established company with over $1 billion in annual revenue, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This newly created role will support senior finance leadership and provide direct exposure to executive-level decision-making.

This position is ideal for a high-performing finance or accounting professional early in their career who is looking to take the next step into a highly visible FP&A role. Candidates with 2-3 years of FP&A experience, public accounting experience, or an accounting background that has transitioned into financial analysis are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesAdvanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven track record of high performance and career progression

Preferred Background

• Experience coming from a public accounting firm and transitioning into finance
• Understanding of annual operating plans and financial forecasting methodologies
• Ability to explain and discuss financial models, analyses, and projects in detail
• Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within a finance organization
