We’re partnering with a well-established, Fortune 500 organization in the western suburbs. They are growing and looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst.

This is a high-visibility Senior Financial Analyst role reporting to the Director of Accounting, with strong exposure to leadership and business operations. You’ll play a key role in driving financial insights, supporting forecasting, and improving overall business performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze indirect costs, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and benchmarking to drive actionable insights
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple business units
• Build and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
• Evaluate actuals vs. budget/forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare monthly business review packages and executive-level reporting
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance tracking tools
• Partner with finance, sales, and operations leaders to support strategic decision-making
• Deliver guidance and training to business units on financial processes and best practices
• Create automated reporting solutions using Power BI and advanced Excel
• Support divisional leadership with reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives
• Participate in M&A-related projects and other ad hoc analysis
• Assist with administrative and operational finance tasks as needed

What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power BI strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key profit drivers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
• Proven ability to build relationships across business units
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Salary is based on experience $105,000-$115,000.
