CFS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Grand Rapids, MI to join its Corporate Finance team. The role partners with business leaders, drives budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost management, and supports strategic initiatives.

This onsite position offers visibility across the organization and opportunities to influence decisions while improving processes and financial systems for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related financial analysis experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills with leadership teams.
• Ability to work independently while building cross-functional relationships.
• Process-improvement mindset and drive for efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Own annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for assigned functions.
• Analyze monthly financial performance and explain budget-to-actual variances.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and recommendations for decision-making.
• Prepare executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
• Monitor spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, provide actionable insights.
• Support SG&A planning and cost management initiatives.
• Help improve reporting processes, financial systems, and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization.
