This role offers comprehensive experience in commercial finance and capital program management exceptional career growth potential.

What You'll Do

  • Support CAPEX budget management and monitor capital distributions across regional project managers, operations teams, and General Managers
  • Maintain project controls frameworks for large construction and development projects and annual maintenance budgets
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and partner with project teams to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Interface regularly with C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Support financial forecasting, integrating risk assessments and project scope changes
  • Consolidate and analyze data from ERP systems, project management tools, and Excel models
  • Proactively identify process improvements and bring creative solutions to enhance efficiency
  • Support monthly reconciliations, audit requests, and financial reviews with meticulous attention to detail
  • Assist with implementation of new project management software (Kauna) in 2026
What You Bring
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, project controls, cost accounting, or construction accounting
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (essential) – complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, data modeling, advanced analytics
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a self-audit mindset
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Executive presence and confidence to interact with C-suite leadership
  • Strong communication skills—you can translate complex data into actionable insights for executives
Highly Desired:
  • Prior construction program controls experience (not required but a plus)
  • Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Kauna, or similar)
The Ideal Candidate
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and drives work forward without constant oversight
  • Confident and poised with executive presence—comfortable holding your own in high-level discussions
  • Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo

  • Intellectually curious—digs deeper into data and seeks to understand the "why" behind the numbers
  • Strategic thinker who balances detailed analysis with big-picture business objectives
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Work Arrangement

Ideally in-office at Dallas headquarters, but client is open to considering strong remote candidates. Candidates must be comfortable with traveling to Dallas headquarters and as well as occasional travel to marina locations as needed.
