Job summary

Moneybox is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to serve as the technical anchor for complex cases, focusing on pension consolidation and drawdown. You will ensure advice outputs are appropriate for customers and help shape the rules governing advice outputs.

• Senior Financial Adviser with deep experience in pension consolidation and drawdown.
• Evidence of delivering high-quality, suitable financial advice to clients.
• Ability to coach Advisers and Money Guides and escalate as needed.
• Potentially lead a team of Financial Advisers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical anchor for complex cases, especially pension consolidation and drawdown.
• Ensure the advice generated is right for the customer by validating outputs.
• Help shape the House Rules governing advice outputs.
• Coach and mentor less experienced Advisers and Money Guides.
• Serve as senior escalation point for the team to deliver good outcomes.
• Possibly manage a small team of Financial Advisers.

The Senior Financial Advisor is one of the most experienced practitioners in the advice team. You are the technical anchor for complex cases — particularly pension consolidation and drawdown — and you carry significant accountability for the quality and suitability of advice we deliver to customers.

You will work alongside the Advice Engine rather than replacing it: the engine generates the plan, and you ensure it is right for the customer. You will also play a leading role in shaping the House Rules that govern advice outputs. You will coach less experienced Advisers and Money Guides, and be the senior point of escalation for the team to deliver good advice outcomes. You may have line manager responsibility for a team of Financial Advisers.
