Job summary

Procyon is seeking an accomplished Financial Advisor with a portable book to drive growth, build new client relationships, and deliver planning-led wealth management across investments, tax, and risk. You will leverage our platform to scale your practice while providing a white-glove experience.

The role requires a minimum $40M in transferable AUM, a clean U4, and at least 3 years of advisor experience with a proven track record in business development.

Qualifications

• Minimum $40 million in current, transferable client assets under management (AUM) required.
• Clean U4 — no disclosures, customer complaints, or regulatory actions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial advisor with business development experience.
• Series 65 or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date.
• CFP, JD, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred; expertise in planning, investments, and wealth strategy.
• Proven ability to source, cultivate, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex topics clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High personal character and integrity; clean compliance record.
• Team player with work ethic and growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive firm growth by sourcing, cultivating, and closing new client relationships.
• Build and execute a personal business development plan leveraging referrals and marketing.
• Develop Center of Influence through networking and events.
• Deliver expertise-driven presentations to clients, closes leads and referrals.
• Serve as trusted lead advisor across investments, retirement, estate, tax, and risk.
• Develop high-integrity financial plans with the Planning team; identify gaps and generate new business.
• Provide strategic investment, retirement, estate, tax, and insurance guidance.
