Senior Financial Advisor

Responsible for direct sales of financial products and services.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of the Bank and its customers.
  • Sell financial products and services primarily within the bank network of customers and contacts.
  • Support and promote the PGB Financial Services Department across the branch network.
  • Generate leads from the bank's customer network.
  • Advise clients on asset allocation.
  • Stay current with all FINRA licensing requirements.
  • Maintain client contact and direct sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Current and maintained FINRA and state insurance licenses.
  • At least three years of current sales experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations for broker/dealer operations.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with clients and staff, in person and over the phone.
  • Strong managerial, analytical, and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Understanding of department policies and procedures.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

  • Participation in special events as a Bank representative.
  • Handling special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining an organized work area.
  • No direct reports.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical demands include walking, sitting, standing, using hands, reaching, stooping, talking, and hearing. Occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distant, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • The work environment involves exposure to weather conditions and generally minimal noise levels.
