Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Celebration, FL is seeking a Sr Financial Accounting Analyst for the Disney Vacation Club Member Accounting team. You will participate in DVC projects, gather requirements, assist with testing, and support automated financial processes to strengthen controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), 3+ years in finance/accounting, and experience on system projects from an accounting perspective, with strong Excel/Power BI/Tableau

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Experience with large multi-phase business and technology projects.
3+ years of Finance or Accounting experience.
Experience on system projects from an accounting perspective.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and assist with testing in DVC technology projects.
Coordinate integration and accounting requirements between DVC and financial systems.
Validate account code mapping with Financial Reporting.
Ensure accurate accounting, internal controls, and reporting.
Develop training documentation and train Member Accounting team.
Identify process improvements to automate and reduce manual work.
