Job summary

The Walt Disney Company's Financial Management team is seeking a Principal Financial Accounting Analyst to join the Hulu subscription accounting efforts. This role reports to the Manager, Financial Accounts and collaborates with cross-functional partners across finance, partnerships, legal and technology.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Hulu Live TV accounting services and premium subscription offerings.
• Assist with quarterly closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct variance analyses for capital and operational metrics.
• Review license fee calculations and payments under distribution agreements.
• Collaborate with finance, partnerships, legal and technical teams.
• Identify process improvements and assist in SOX documentation updates.
• Support annual financial statement reviews and ad hoc projects.
