Job summary

Disney Worldwide Shared Services (DWSS)/Corporate seeks an Accounting Analyst to perform daily real estate accounting and reporting across multiple business units. You will interact with finance staff and leadership, ensure accuracy of month, quarter, and year-end closes, and contribute to process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and involves evaluating leases under ASC 842 and IFRS 16, preparing journal entries, and assisting in 10K/10Q

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting and reporting services for real estate companies
• Month-, quarter-, and year-end close preparation and analysis
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and short balance accounts
• Evaluate contracts using ASC 842 and IFRS 16
• Review ASC 842 amortization schedule for leases
• System development and testing related to accounting processes
• Respond to requests from business units with technical research
• Provide analytical support for annual and quarterly forecasting
• Analyze monthly and quarterly P&L and audits
• SOX, government services and tax compliance
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors
• Prepare 10K/10Q related reports and quarterly earnings
• Ad hoc projects and reporting for business units
