Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in the United States. You will work across industries to develop strategic goals, listen to clients, and deliver exceptional experiences in a complex accounting environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines, travel to meet key clients, and contribute to solving evolving regulatory and industry challenges while mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business. Approximately 3–5 years of auditor experience in public accounting.
• Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state.
• Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
• Deep understanding of marketplace terminology, processes and tools.
• Proven track record of excellence in managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
• Ability to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations and new technologies.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites; driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues.
• Collaborating with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy and balance risk.
• Ensure the Engagement team understands clients’ needs, ambitions and expectations.
• Build relationships across service lines for seamless, integrated service delivery.
• Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
