Menards Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee complex accounting, financial analysis, and reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.

You will independently research and resolve complex accounting issues, identify trends and risks, strengthen internal controls, and lead process-improvement initiatives while supporting management and the Finance team. This role serves as a key accounting resource across departments and may provide guidance

Responsabilités

• Prepare, analyze, and review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and supporting schedules.
• Perform detailed financial and variance analysis and communicate findings to Accounting management.
• Review financial results and identify trends, unusual transactions, and opportunities requiring management attention.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities to strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
• Lead in developing, documenting, and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead in accounting and finance projects, system implementations, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead in special projects and other duties as assigned.
