Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a Sr. Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Financial Accounting team in New Braunfels, TX. This role focuses on fixed assets, leases, and GAAP reporting, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, consolidation, audits, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, a CPA (or in progress), and 5+ years of progressive experience. Strong ERP and MS Office proficiency are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field is required.
• CPA required (either complete or in progress).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with JD Edwards or SAP preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience required.

Mansioni

• Manage fixed asset records, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and reconciliations.
• Administer and account for lease portfolio under ASC 842.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements and reports.
• Consolidate financial statements for subsidiaries and analyze variances.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple facilities and currencies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulatory compliance.
• Identify process improvements and participate in system implementations.
