Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • Five to seven years progressive accounting experience.
  • CPA or MBA is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with GAAP, internal controls, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial data modeling are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries in GAAP.
  • Coordinate month-end close to ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Review general ledger for accuracy, proper documentation, and policy compliance.
  • Analyze and reconcile complex GL accounts, investigate variances.
  • Lead the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare management reports comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts.
  • Support annual financial audits with schedules and documentation.
  • Communicate financial results and insights to leadership.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls.
